Dispatch Time

Orders are normally dispatched within 1 business day, including those sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
If we are unable to meet this dispatch timeframe, we will update the information on this page and display notices on relevant product pages.

Delivery

Standard Delivery (Included)

  • Standard delivery is provided via Royal Mail Tracked 24, included within the test kit price.
  • This service includes up to £150 compensation for loss, covering the cost of replacing detectors.
  • Kits containing fewer than 6 detectors are designed to fit through a standard letterbox and do not require a signature.
  • Royal Mail aims to deliver the next working day, including Saturdays and Sundays. This is not guaranteed and may take up to 10 working days
  • Tracking information is emailed once dispatched.  Please allow a few hours for the first scan at the sorting office for the tracking information to update.

Royal Mail Special Delivery (Optional Upgrade)

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm can be selected at checkout.
  • Delivery is Monday to Friday only.
  • Please allow for the dispatch timeframe stated above.

Return Postage

  • Each test kit includes prepaid Royal Mail Tracked 24 Returns for returning detectors to the laboratory.
  • The delivery aim is 1 working day, Monday to Friday.
  • Items posted on a Friday may be held within the Royal Mail network and delivered from the following Monday.
  • All returns must be taken to a Post Office and accompanied by proof of postage, which is required for any loss claim.
  • Royal Mail’s maximum compensation is limited to the replacement cost of the test kits.
  • For returns relating to house sales or bond requirements, we recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Refunds and Returns

  • Passive radon detectors cannot be returned once dispatched, as they must be stored under controlled conditions prior to sale.
  • For this reason, refunds cannot be issued after dispatch.
  • Lost orders will be claimed through Royal Mail, and replacement detectors will be issued in accordance with their compensation process.
  • For non-delivery we have to wait 10 working days past the due date, before we can issue a replacement kit.
